My Story
This is how it all began…
I am a housewife, mother, and a dialysis Registered Nurse and I love to cook! In fact, I have hundreds of cookbooks as well as very special recipes that have been handed down for generations.
Because I often work long hours on my feet as a nurse, all I really want to do when I get home is take a hot bath and kick my feet up. It’s frustrating to me that I find it difficult to cook fresh meals every day. For that reason, I often prepare large portions so we could enjoy them for more than just one meal.
A main part of our meal has always been good fresh mixed salad. The problem was, I had to make only enough salad to be eaten at one meal because it just didn’t stay fresh very long after I made it.
It takes a lot of time to make a good mixed salad. And with the price of produce, it is not cheap either. By the time I got home from a long day standing at work, I simply did not feel like being on my feet in the kitchen washing all the vegetables and fruit and then chopping them all up to go in the salad.
In the past, I have purchased containers that were supposed to keep salads fresh for several days but not one of them worked. I wasted a lot of money and salad ingredients throwing away rotting salad.
And I hate wasting money and food!
I knew there had to be a way to solve this problem. So I started experimenting. After several years of testing and a lot of wasted salad, I discovered the answer to keeping vegetables and fruit fresh and long lasting.
My invention worked!
No more brown and soggy lettuce!
I could now make one large salad and my family could enjoy eating it all week. My new bowl keeps the salad fresh and crisp.
Now after coming home from a long day at work, I could simply take what salad we needed for one meal and keep the rest for another day.
We have really enjoyed using my new bowl.
After several years of encouragement from my family, I decided to make my bowl available to everyone!
My Fresh-N-Ready™ bowl is now patent pending and after a lot of work, we are ready to bring it to market.
We have solidified a deal with a manufacturer that is based here in the United States. It was important to me to have it made close so I could visit the factory any time I wanted to ensure quality. It was also important to be able to produce my new bowl in high volume.
All I need now is to have our new steel molds made and start production.
My molds are currently being manufactured. If you would like to be contacted when my bowl is available just complete the Contact Us form.
Thank you very much for your time and your support in making my dream a reality!
